Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by physicians, including medical gas administration, aerosol therapy, and patient testing.
  • Operate and maintain various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices.
  • Provide mechanical ventilation, maintain artificial airways, and assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed.
  • Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Document patient care and treatment in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care.
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • One year of recent clinical experience in respiratory therapy preferred.
