Role Responsibilities:
The physician will be responsible for managing hospitalized patients from their admission to discharge. This includes:
- Conducting thorough history and physical evaluations
- Developing strategies to enhance and/or manage patient health
- Aiming to minimize the length of hospital stays through safe medical practices and effective treatment plans.

The physician will collaborate with a team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The typical schedule consists of 7 consecutive days on duty followed by 7 days off, with 12-hour shifts.

Work Locations:
Various community sites within the UPMC network.

Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Eligibility for a medical license in Pennsylvania.
