We are seeking a skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Regency Integrated Health Services. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations and company policy.
  • Observe and report reactions and side-effects to medication shown by a resident.
  • Take and record vital signs prior to the administration of medication.
  • Report to the charge nurse and document reasons prescribed drugs are not administered.
  • Administer regularly prescribed medication which the permit holder has been trained to administer.
  • Document the administered medication in the resident's medication administration record.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of State Approved Medication Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
  • Good standing in the state registry.
  • Preferred one (1) year of previous health care experience.
