As an essential member of our team, you will assist with system installs on commercial and residential projects, working closely with mechanics to layout and install required materials and equipment for HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare job sites for installing ductwork, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
  • Assist mechanics with the installation and running of new duct into various types of buildings, including residential homes, commercial businesses, and multi-story buildings.
  • Assist with material distribution and take direction from mechanics and project managers on project details.
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, including welding and brazing.
  • Learn construction plans and drawings, as well as code requirements.
  • Document and maintain timecards through software applications.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the HVAC trade.
  • Dependability and punctuality.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Ability to use significant independent judgment and learn app-based software for construction tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills and basic computer skills.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to operate in an open work area with moderate everyday noise.
  • Ability to work closely with other trades and contractors.
  • Ability to withstand heat and cold temperatures.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
