Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at Pivot Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our physical therapists and patient experience coordinators in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists and patient experience coordinators with patient care and administrative tasks
- Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments and assist with exercises and functional activities
- Provide routine treatments, such as hot/cold packs and modalities
- Clean and maintain the treatment area and equipment
- Assist with scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
- Order and manage inventory of non-medical and medical supplies
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to document projects and manage production
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Patient/client satisfaction skills
- Energetic and a team player
- Ability to demonstrate compassion toward patients
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Physical Demands:
- Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel, and reach with hand and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
Work Environment:
- Internal office
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low
