Job Title: Shift Manager

About the Role:
As a Shift Manager at McDonald's, you will be responsible for leading shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. You will provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high-quality service, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead shifts, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience for customers
  • Provide guidance and support to crew members and other managers during a shift
  • Monitor performance, taking action to ensure the team meets McDonald's standards
  • Manage inventory, maintain daily cleanliness, and ensure food safety
  • Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for a great shift
  • Meet targets and help departments meet their goals
  • Perform various tasks, including scheduling, training, and internal communication
  • Manage crew, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and quality food production
  • Manage safety and security, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements:
  • Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants
