Job Summary

Columbus Technical College is seeking a highly skilled Instructional Librarian to join our team. As a key member of our library staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional instructional library classes and reference services to faculty, staff, and students on and off campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging library instruction sessions to promote information literacy and research skills
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate library services into curriculum and instructional design
  • Provide expert reference services, including research assistance and information consultations
  • Manage and maintain library collections, including cataloging and processing new materials
  • Assist with library events, workshops, and training programs
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in library services and information literacy
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution
  • Experience working in a library setting, preferably in an academic or research environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Proficiency in library software and systems, including integrated library systems and online databases
