Key Responsibilities- Manage and track purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of parts and materials
- Organize and prioritize shop workload to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Order parts and materials as needed to support shop operations
- Collaborate with the Shop Service Manager to achieve leadership goals and objectives
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues on tractors and trailers using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on our fleet to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan
- Conduct DOT inspections in accordance with FMSCA guidelines
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Essential tools and equipment
- Technical or advanced degree or 5+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
- Ability to obtain a Class B license
- ASE certification in 4 areas (preventative maintenance and brakes preferred)
- Competitive hourly rate up to $35/hour
- Sign-on bonus of $2,000
