Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating commercial dishwashing equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, and supporting kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
  • Hand wash delicate items or those that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.
  • Empty trash bins regularly and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
  • Assist kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware in their designated storage areas.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures, including the use of protective gear.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to acquire a valid Texas Food Handler Card within thirty (30) days of hiring.
