Job Summary

NextEra Energy, Inc. is seeking a skilled Solar Energy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our solar energy systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on solar energy systems, including cleaning and inspecting solar panels and related equipment.
  • Operate and maintain company-owned vehicles and equipment, including tractors and water trucks.
  • Collaborate with a six-person crew to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Perform site clean-up and minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in solar energy or a related industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
