Position Overview:

This role is for a Senior Service Center Technician operating under general supervision, utilizing experience and judgment to effectively plan and execute tasks.

Work Schedule:

4th Shift (Nights): Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform servicing, repairs, and modifications on avionics equipment.
  • Conduct a variety of tasks including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting avionics systems.
  • Execute technical analyses of products and modifications according to customer specifications and approved documentation.
  • Engage in soldering of fine pitch and SMD components.
  • Evaluate product requirements in line with customer needs.
  • Apply a solid understanding of electronic principles to ensure timely repairs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot issues down to the component level.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • This position does not involve sales responsibilities.
  • Physical demands may include lifting over 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Safety Considerations:

This position is classified as safety-sensitive according to FAA guidelines, and candidates will undergo drug and alcohol testing as per FAA regulations.

Qualifications:
Required Experience:
  • AA/AS degree (or equivalent 2-year post-secondary training) with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a high school diploma.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee/asylee status).
  • Experience or education in the electronics maintenance industry is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Electronics Trade School or military training equivalent for electronics repair is preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting at the component level is advantageous.
  • Prior soldering experience in a related environment is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations is desirable.
  • Understanding of RF electronics is an added advantage.
