Job Summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a skilled and motivated Head Cashier to join our team. As a Head Cashier, you will be responsible for supervising a team of cashiers, providing training and guidance, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train a team of cashiers to ensure excellent customer service and efficient checkout processes
• Monitor and maintain cash register supply levels, and ensure accurate cash handling and counting procedures
• Assist in the selection and training of new cashiers, and participate in disciplinary actions as needed
• Assign store sweeps and maintain cleanliness standards in our restrooms and parking lots
• Schedule and oversee the proper execution of meal and rest breaks pursuant to company policy and state requirements

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training
• Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers and represent the company as a role model
• Ability to operate front-end equipment, register, calculator, scanner, and lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and ability to read, write, and count
