CDL Instructor

Madisonville Community College (MCC) is seeking a qualified CDL Instructor to join our Workforce Solutions team. As a CDL Instructor, you will play a critical role in coordinating the development and delivery of CDL training to students from diverse backgrounds.

• Coordinate classroom, driving range, and on-the-road training
• Administer required drug tests and comply with state CDL/DOT requirements
• Counsel individual clients/students concerning program requirements and progress
• Escort students to Kentucky State Police testing facility for Class A CDL driving test
• Coordinate operational needs and supplies for the program

• Associate degree and three years related experience, or equivalent
• Current CDL Class A license
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and respond to high-pressure situations
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, flexibility, and attention to detail
