Evermore Resort: Where Hospitality Meets Innovation
We're redefining the Orlando vacation experience at Evermore Resort. Our resort offers a unique blend of upscale vacation homes, flats, and villas alongside the luxurious Conrad hotel. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping this new standard for professionalism.
About the Role:
- Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift).
- Ensure tableware is in good condition and report any defects for repair.
- Report any inconsistencies to leadership.
- Assist with setting and preparing tables and cabanas for dining, which may include folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
- Assist Front of House Team Members with table service, which may include serving beverages, etc.
- Stock, maintain, and clean designated food station(s).
- Retailre and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
- Consistently account for and maintain cleanliness of tables, cabanas, service areas, and equipment in the dining area.
- Ensure Evermore Bay is consistently free of debris and has a positive appearance.
- Complete side work as assigned.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Engage in a positive guest-focused environment.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- 1-2 years of hospitality and restaurant experience, customer service focus.
- Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
- Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.
