Madera Community Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our Patient Care Services Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the departmental functions and activities to ensure high-quality patient care services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the hospital-wide Plan for the Provision of Patient Care in collaboration with managers, staff, and administration.
- Establish standards of nursing/patient care practices and develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with community and professional standards.
- Participate in strategic planning, policy formation, administration, and decision-making with the governing body, administration, medical staff, and leaders.
- Manage the operations of hospital departments, including allocating resources and ensuring departmental practices meet or exceed regulatory standards.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital patient care operations with administrative supervision.
- Current State of California Board of Registered Nursing license and National Certification Examination for a clinical specialty area.
