We are a 48-bed licensed, acute care behavioral hospital that offers innovative, customized treatment programs for inpatient and outpatient care. Our expert staff work together to create individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and preferences of each patient.

About Haven Behavioral Healthcare

We provide relief from debilitating symptoms associated with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and schizophrenia. Our treatment strategies are designed to help patients move past their illness and take back control of their life.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients for risk of danger to self or others at admission and ongoing throughout hospitalization
  • Intervene appropriately with patients experiencing behavioral crisis situations
  • Participate in implementing individualized plans of care with the treatment team
  • Provide patient education on identified learning needs
  • Facilitate educational/activity groups and recommend alternative activities based on patient functioning level and treatment plan
  • Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians and assume Charge Nurse role when assigned

Requirements:

We require a Graduate of an accredited nursing program and two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with one year of acute psychiatric experience preferred. Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum depending on experience.
