Security Officer

Kelly Services is seeking a diligent and reliable direct hire night shift Security Guard/Officer to join our client's organization in El Dorado Hills, CA.
Job Summary:The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be alert, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Access Control: Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter the premises.
- Security Console Administration: Directly responsible for the general administration of the Security console desk.
- Facility Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Incident Reporting: Document and report any incidents, security breaches, or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities promptly.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, such as fire, medical, or security incidents, following established protocols.
- Customer Service: Assist employees and visitors, answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate locations.
- Temporary Access Cards and ID Badges: Issuing of temporary access cards and ID badges, handling of medical, electrical, and maintenance requests.
- CCTV and Access Control System Monitoring: Monitor closed circuit television (CCTV) system, the access control system, event alarms, security records, key control, ID/access badge issue, physical security of the site, and equipment dispatch accountability.
- Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS office programs.
- Communication: Ability to communicate with other Security and Facility personnel.
- Benefits: PTO, medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, and 401k w/ match.
- Payrate: $18 an hour with Annual bonus.
- Shift: 6:00pm- 3:00am days determined in interview.
