Position Overview:

This role is contingent upon contract award and is anticipated to be a Hybrid position.

Role Summary:

We are in search of a Security Assessment & Accreditation Lead to assist in supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity Operations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and enhance security evaluations and authorizations of information systems.
  2. Develop Authorization to Operate (ATO) documentation for enterprise systems, including cloud environments.
  3. Draft, evaluate, and validate control implementation statements in accordance with NIST standards.
  4. Oversee the creation of the System Security Plan and facilitate Incident Response (IR) and Contingency Planning (CP) testing.
  5. Establish, monitor, and revise the Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM).
  6. Prepare Risk Assessment Memoranda to support risk-based decision-making.
  7. Develop a Risk Register and inform management of critical risk areas.
  8. Conduct assessment interviews with stakeholders of the relevant systems.
  9. Compile the Security Assessment Report (SAR).
  10. Evaluate controls and initiate POAMs as necessary.
  11. Review ATO packages prior to submission for executive approval.
  12. Conduct exit meetings with system owners to discuss identified findings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in security assessment.
  3. Proficiency in Risk Management Framework (NIST Security Assessment and Accreditation).

Preferred Certifications:

  1. CISSP Certification
  2. CAP Certification

Clearance Requirements:

  1. Public Trust Clearance or higher is mandatory.
