Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is tasked with ensuring the optimal functionality of various facilities by performing essential maintenance duties. This role involves travel to multiple locations within the designated service areas.


Key Responsibilities:

The individual in this role will oversee:

  • Preventative, corrective, and renovation maintenance of assigned properties, including buildings and grounds.
  • Planning and executing maintenance tasks while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Adhering to budgetary constraints while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

On-Call Requirements:

This position includes an on-call rotation, requiring availability for one week or more each month.


Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in facilities maintenance, covering areas such as plumbing, electrical work, heating, and general repairs.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Possession of reliable transportation and basic maintenance tools.
  • Willingness to be available for on-call duties during evenings and weekends.
