Your Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the safe repair and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and equipment, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Your key tasks will include:
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of company vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, buses, trams, golf carts, and utility vehicles.
- Conducting inspections and repairs on small engine-powered equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, pressure washers) and heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, cranes).
- Completing all necessary documentation related to repairs and maintenance.
- Inspecting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Operating automotive lifts, high reach equipment, forklifts, and other machinery.
- Maintaining and operating parking lot sweeper equipment.
- Providing exceptional service to guests and assisting them with minor automotive issues (e.g., flat tires, jump starts).
- Engaging positively with vendors to procure parts and supplies.
- Performing cleaning duties and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications for Success:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant experience or completion of automotive vocational training.
- ASE certification in brakes.
- A valid state driver's license.
- The ability to obtain a company driver's license and pass a DOT physical.
- Capability to train and achieve SeaWorld forklift and high reach certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. independently, as well as push 1,000 lbs. with assistance.
- Comfort working at heights, around water, and in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and machinery operation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexibility in scheduling.
- Preferred knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and automotive electrical and mechanical controls.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Experience in other maintenance-related fields is highly desirable.
