The Family Medicine Physician must hold a valid SOUTH CAROLINA medical license and have experience in family medicine. Residency in SOUTH CAROLINA is a prerequisite.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting monthly Quality Chart reviews of a representative sample or a minimum of two (2) chart reviews, whichever is greater.
- Meeting state requirements to collaborate with assigned Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to review and discuss chart documentation and quality of care.
- Being accessible via phone or electronic communication during the NP's working hours (40 hours per week).
- Serving as a supervising and collaborating physician in accordance with applicable laws and the NP Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement.
- Liability insurance will be provided for claims arising solely from the Physician's supervision and collaboration services provided to NPs.
