Job Title: Busser

Mexican Sugar Regent Square is seeking a skilled Busser to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and efficient Busser to provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Busser, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment, supporting our servers and bartenders, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Excellent Service: Communicate with guests and coworkers in a positive, friendly, and hospitable manner.
  • Arrive on Time: Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work, while following proper uniform guidelines.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of station during shift; Stock and replenish, as needed.
  • Support Servers and Bartenders: Assist in maintaining tables and efficiently delivering correct food and drinks to guests.
  • Assist with Special Projects: Assist in any special cleaning projects, including repair and maintenance.
  • Observe Laws and Regulations: Observe all state and federal laws regarding the service of food and alcohol, including current certifications.
  • Bus and Manicure Tables: Bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant.
  • Polish Silverware and Glassware: Polish silverware and glassware, to ensure the restaurant is set up for success.
  • Communicate with Management: Communicate any questions, issues, or guest concerns to the management team.
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Clean and maintain all equipment and utensils necessary for job performance.
  • Report Issues: Report any issues with equipment immediately to the supervisor.
  • Work with Coworkers: Communicate and work together with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Follow Checklists: Follow all checklists and perform all necessary tasks required for your position. Must follow all safety guidelines set out by the restaurant.
  • Assist Servers: Assist restaurant servers in tasks necessary to maintain their tables and assist their guests throughout the visit.
Qualifications:
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand for long periods.
  • Lifting Requirements: Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and properly utilize a tray.
  • Certifications: Obtain and update any required certifications.
