This role is situated within the protein and salt division, where we deliver high-quality food products to a diverse clientele, including foodservice providers, grocery retailers, manufacturers, and exporters.


Key Responsibilities


The Lead Mechanical Integrity Specialist will play a pivotal role in the maintenance and reliability management team, focusing on reliability engineering.

In this capacity, you will collaborate with the reliability team to enhance plant reliability and advocate for the defect elimination process.

Your expertise will be essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing the organization’s physical assets and refining maintenance and reliability strategies. You will also be actively involved in the implementation and leadership of a comprehensive reliability-centered maintenance and equipment reliability enhancement process.

This position will support major facilities engaged in the production of food products derived from corn.


Key Accountabilities
  • Implement advanced reliability excellence initiatives and identify opportunities for value creation in reliability engineering.
  • Ensure the strategic development and application of asset reliability-centered maintenance.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of complex projects and collaborate with relevant departments on new equipment reliability specifications.
  • Identify and eliminate recurring issues while optimizing equipment availability.
  • Engage in the design, development, and implementation of predictive maintenance programs and technologies to detect and rectify defects.
  • Oversee the lubrication program to ensure its effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to provide guidance on reliability-related processes and critical spare parts identification.

Independently manage complex challenges with minimal oversight, escalating only the most intricate issues to the appropriate personnel.


Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated knowledge in the application of reliability tools
- Familiarity with maintenance process management
- At least four years of relevant work experience
- Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional or similar certification
- Training in predictive maintenance technologies
- Knowledge of proactive maintenance management
- Experience in production, maintenance, or project management
- Proven ability to lead teams or drive results through collaboration
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
- Understanding of equipment breakdowns
- Familiarity with SAP
