Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and assess health care for residents and staff in long-term care settings.
  • Conduct daily travel to various facilities.
  • Collaborate with physicians, manage prescriptions, and perform bedside procedures related to wound care.
  • Partner with the medical director in resident and staff care.
  • Administer and manage topical wound care and related products.
  • Educate patients and Primary Care Physicians on contemporary wound management techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Proof of Covid vaccination is required.
  • Current authorization from the Board of Nursing to perform medical tasks.
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds to assist residents.
  • Capability to lift 10 pounds for routine tasks.
  • Experience in pushing/pulling over 70 pounds during patient care.
  • Physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, and twist when providing care.
  • Depth perception is necessary for executing medical procedures.
  • Potential exposure to various environmental conditions, bloodborne pathogens, and physical hazards.
