Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Labor and Delivery specialist. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a 36-hour workweek, offering a chance to gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery department. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing emotional support and expert medical care during one of the most significant moments in their lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in Labor and Delivery care
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
