Job Summary

The HVAC Technician 1 plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of portable HVAC equipment. This position requires strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and install rented HVAC equipment, providing training to authorized operators on safe use and operation
  • Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls
  • Successfully troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime
  • Operate company vehicles safely, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, ensuring it meets company standards
  • Collaborate with managers and sales engineers to maintain accurate records and tracking of in-stock and rented equipment
  • Participate in emergency service response calls on weekends and evenings, as needed
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a service-related role interacting with customers
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work some after-hours and weekend shifts during peak periods
