About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the administration of medications to residents, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor resident medication quantities and make arrangements for timely procurement of refills.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate medication management.
  • Document medication administration and resident reactions to medications according to policy and professional standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CPR certification and Medication Tech certification.
  • On-the-job training provided.
  • Ability to accurately read and follow medication orders and labels.
  • Knowledge of assisted living policies and procedures regarding all aspects of medication management.
  • Able to identify concerns related to medication orders, instructions, or resident reactions and take appropriate actions.
