Job Summary: Massachusetts Veterans Home at Chelsea is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutritional care to our veteran residents by assessing their needs, completing MHIS forms, and providing diet education to promote healthy eating habits.
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans.
- Collaborate with medical and food preparation staff to ensure residents receive the best possible care.
- Provide diet education to residents and their families to promote healthy eating habits and nutrition awareness.
- Develop and implement nutrition programs to improve the overall health and well-being of our residents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
- Registration as a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association.
- 3 years of experience in dietetics or nutrition.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
