Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist

Vibra Travels is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for a travel job in Yorktown, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Physical Therapist with experience in acute care and rehab hospitals to provide and direct Physical Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication in assigned locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide and direct Physical Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication in assigned locations.
  • Functions under a physician's order.
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides/Therapy Techs.
Requirements:
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
  • A current, valid and active Driver's License.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • One (1) year of experience as a PT.

Vibra Travels offers a competitive hourly rate in addition to a tax-free stipend (if applicable), no pay cuts mid-contract, and a referral bonus (up to $1000 per referral). We also provide license reimbursement if traveling to a new state where a new license is required.

Per Federal Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption.

Anyone hired by the company must provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccine before they can begin employment or request and be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption.

Unvaccinated employees on an approved exemption must submit to weekly COVID-19 testing and wear a respirator at all times while in the facility.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the current (hourly for non-exempt) range is $45.50 to $50.50 (not including the stipend if applicable).

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
