Operations Manager

Nika Inc is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing support services to the U.S. Health and Human Services Department at the Hubert H. Humphrey building in Washington D.C.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Manage and oversee facilities maintenance operations to ensure conformance with contracts and company policies.
- Supervise and develop personnel, facilities, materials, finances, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Implement and manage open-work order activities, prioritizing tasks to meet established contract requirements.
- Monitor and ensure employee conformance with quality assurance program elements, addressing non-conformant work quality promptly.
- Coordinate workforce management and contract compliance efforts with other managers as needed.
- Interface with and monitor subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
- Prepare and submit required reports and analyses, maintaining accurate documentation as contractually required.
- Assist with ordering parts, materials, and tools, ensuring accuracy, cost savings, and timely delivery.
- Minimum seven years' experience in building maintenance operations in Federal owned facilities, with a DC First class operator's license.
- Experience in maintaining complex industrial facilities and operating utility systems of the type used at the HHH Building.
- Demonstrated experience writing scopes of work and preparing basic cost estimates.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
- Experience in different size and complexity of project types.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an access card to the site.
