Adjunct Faculty

West Hills Community College District is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty - Biology Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching biology courses to students at our Coalinga and Lemoore campuses.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate instructor who can deliver high-quality instruction and engage students in the learning process. The successful candidate will have a strong background in biology and be able to teach a variety of courses, including introductory and advanced biology classes.

• Teach biology courses to students at our Coalinga and Lemoore campuses
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and instructional materials
• Assess student learning and provide feedback
• Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement innovative teaching methods

• Master's degree in biology or a related field
• Experience teaching biology courses at the community college level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
