Special Education Teacher Opportunity

Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team at a Minnesota school district. As a W2 contractor through Soliant Education, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction that caters to various learning styles, ensuring every student has an equal chance to succeed.
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Continuously assess and adjust instructional strategies to optimize student progress and achievement.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods, materials, and technology to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student performance and progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • In-depth understanding of learning disabilities and effective intervention strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
