Rural Physicians Group (RPG) is a pioneering organization dedicated to addressing the healthcare crisis in rural communities. We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Tristate Memorial Hospital, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in medically underserved areas.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Hospitalist Physician who is passionate about rural medicine and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility to plan your schedule 90 days in advance, ensuring consistency and continuity of care for our patients.

  • 25 Bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
  • Level 4 Trauma Center
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 4 beds
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech with Dragon dictation
  • Average Daily Census: 14
  • ACLS certification required
  • COVID vaccine required
  • Some procedures required: central lines, intubations, and vent management
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Contractor Status - enjoy tax benefits of owning your own business
  • $1,400 stipend per day
  • Eligibility for bonus pool (up to $20,000 quarterly based on RPG metrics)
  • PRIME $100 bonus for physicians working 10+ shifts per month + $3,000
  • Quarterly Prime Bonus
  • Hospital will submit billing
  • Housing provided by RPG
  • Malpractice Insurance provided by RPG
Schedule and Accommodations

We offer a consistent placement schedule, allowing you to plan your schedule 90 days in advance. Our dedicated and convenient private and comfortable quarters/call-room ensure a comfortable working environment. Meals are provided in the physicians' lounge.

Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must:

  • Be board certified in family or internal medicine
  • Have active state licensure or be able to obtain
  • Be able to perform the full scope of practice
  • Have a clean malpractice and disciplinary history
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior experience is preferred
  • Be proficient and willing to perform mainline procedures
