  • Assess residential properties for defects and other issues
  • Educate consumers on home operations and potential concerns
  • Communicate findings professionally, verbally and in writing
  • Produce detailed reports within 12-24 hours of inspection
  • Keep daily logs and take photographs
  • Utilize company software to create reports
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in construction, real estate, or home repair
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations is desirable
  • Valid NC or SC Home Inspector license is preferred
  • Ability to complete company training to obtain state licensure
  • Valid driver's license
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical fitness to climb ladders and access various areas of the home
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work in diverse environments
