Job Overview

BRIA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and delegate nursing activities to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Evaluate the performance of the nursing department and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular patient rounds to address concerns and ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Provide training and guidance to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in long-term care, preferably as an Assistant Director of Nursing.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois and in good standing.
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment, including PointClickCare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, staff, and families.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to drive quality improvement initiatives.
