Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

TheraEx Therapy is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team for a 13-week contract in a skilled nursing facility.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility
  • Work collaboratively with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans to meet individual needs
  • Implement and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Active California Physical Therapist Assistant license
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Covid vaccine card
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
