Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Sinai Chicago. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality sonographic images of internal organs and structures for use in diagnosing disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal images of internal organs and structures.
  • Explain the examination process to patients and instruct them on how to position themselves for the examination.
  • Key test data and patient information into the ultrasound equipment's computer system to maintain accurate records of test results.
  • Identify and visualize all necessary structures, measure, and correctly label them.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and policies related to medical ultrasound safety and critical value findings.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited school of Sonography or equivalent experience and competency in the field of Sonography.
  • ARDMS certification in OB/GYN preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
