Job Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Greet the customer and provide a positive shopping experience
    • Operate electronic registers and process customer transactions
    • Scan and/or hand ring customer purchases
    • Tender cash and non-cash transactions
    • Proof checks and handle coupons, food stamps, and vouchers
    • Make change and maintain a balanced drawer
    • Bag customer purchases properly
    • Work the FastLanes and interact with customers to make the check-out process as pleasant and efficient as possible
  • Availability
    • Must be available to be scheduled between 20-30hrs a week, primarily daytime shifts, based on department needs
  • Physical Demands
    • Walking, bending, stooping, carrying, loading, etc.
    • Repetitive lifting to 50#
    • Occasional lifting to 80#
