About the Role

Beech Brook is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School-Based Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide critical support to students in grades PreK-12 in the Twinsburg City School District.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students, including crisis intervention and consultation with educational staff.
  • Develop and implement small and large group programming to promote social-emotional learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with district administrators and faculty to develop and implement district-wide initiatives.
  • Provide staff development and community training on topics related to trauma responses and interventions.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and family, providing effective communication and support.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
  • Minimum of LSW/LPC, with preference for LISW/LPCC.
  • Several years of experience working with youth and families, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the district and families.
