Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Children's Hospital at Saint Francis. As a key member of our PICU team, you will provide critical care to pediatric patients and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including ventilation management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and make recommendations for treatment.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current Oklahoma license (or Oklahoma endorsement process already in progress)
  • NBRC Credential
  • PALS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
  • At least 2 years of recent staff experience in a large PICU unit/facility
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPIC experience
  • Ability to float between adult and children's population and other units as needed
