No prior restaurant experience is required for this role. A comprehensive 3-month training program and ongoing personal and career development will prepare you for a career as a restaurant manager and multi-unit leadership roles.

We don't use a restaurant simulator. Instead, you'll learn by doing. On your first day, you'll put on the uniform and start working alongside a Training Unit Manager in a real Waffle House restaurant. You'll perform all tasks until they become second nature. During this period, you'll receive additional training from senior managers.

Some key details about this role include:

A 6-on-2-off rotating shift schedule (work 6 days, then you're off 2 days)
Begin at 6:30AM and end around 4:30PM daily
9-12 weeks of management training, including:
3rd-shift rotations
Waffle House University coursework
Practice management by running different restaurants before being assigned to your own restaurant
Trainees become familiar with team leadership, business systems, and hands-on culture

As a Unit Manager, you'll be in charge of your own restaurant. You'll go from learning the basics to being great at running all aspects of our business: managing, coaching, training, and developing your team of Associates; restaurant service and production, and building relationships with your Customers and the surrounding community. You'll start receiving performance-based compensation, which means you'll determine your earnings by creating sales and running your restaurant effectively.

Target Compensation Range: $63,000 - $80,000
Number of Restaurants: 1
Annual Stock Options: 5% of income and Career Options: $17,500

Pay Details: Continuous service bonuses and a $6,000 annual bonus for having a 4-year degree.
