Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Help individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene and meal preparation
  • Assist individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs
  • Support individuals in achieving their developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals and their families

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts
