Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing exceptional care to patients with renal and urology needs. As a RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and sterile environments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, promoting evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to manage their health and make informed decisions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

Education/Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.

Experience:

• One year of experience in nursing, preferably in renal or urology care, with a focus on patient-centered care and quality improvement.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:

• Current Texas State RN License.
• CPR (American Heart Association) certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
