Job Title: Quality Chemist

Ecolab is seeking a highly skilled Quality Chemist to join their team in Fresno, TX. This position is focused on quality problem resolution at manufacturing plants with a focus on plant capabilities in mixing and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports Nalco's TPM initiative program and improvement process.
  • Develops and implements action plans to solve problems; works with other department and site employees to achieve and maintain ISO 9001 and RC 14000 certification.
  • Leader of the PQ Pillar.
  • Responsible for data analysis of adjustment/resample and FPF to aid in process improvement.
  • Responsible for performing all quality assurance tests and procedures in a precise and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry.
  • A strong laboratory background in organic and/or analytical chemistry.
  • Ability to lead.
  • ISO 9001 knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience working in a chemical plant.
  • Experience in data analysis/trending.
  • Knowledge on how FTIR and GC instrumentation functions and ability analyze the data.
  • Continuous improvement experience.
  • Knowledge of Oxyalklyation Chemistry.
