About the Role

Aegis Sortation is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full execution of electrical projects, ensuring safety compliance, budget adherence, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring contractual requirements are met.
  • Oversee multiple electrical engineering projects, assessing and adapting processes to industry standards.
  • Provide input for improvement of electrical drawing and work packages.
  • Lead the generation and enhancement of Aegis standard documentation and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and the latest technology, sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Define and follow KPIs representing the success of the team.
  • Lead, direct, and support projects through the detail design and implementation phase.
  • Develop electrical engineering work plans and resource requirements.
  • Oversee the development of overall system power calculation and creation of power requirements documentation.
  • Create and review Electrical Engineering work packages.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet industry standards, customer specifications, and Aegis Standards.
  • Direct project teams and support resources during project development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3+ years' industrial electrical construction experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in Distribution & Material Handling (preferred).
  • Ability to travel and work on project sites throughout the US and internationally.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to read 2D and 3D construction drawings.
  • Working Knowledge of AutoCAD (Electrical), Eplan, and other design software.
  • Ability to develop solutions to installation and other mechanical issues.
  • Ability to analyze progress and determine issues in the schedule in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of and ability to work with and manage multiple suppliers.
  • Experience with Functional safety, SISTEMA.
  • Experience electrical compliance knowledge IEC60204-1, IEC61439.
  • Experience with MS Project and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in standard design of relevant material handling equipment.

Work Environment
  • Time spent on active job sites include subject to noise, being in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical power and control systems, and high places.
  • Personal Protective Equipment required at active job sites.
Physical Demands
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Ability to walk, kneel, crouch and balance frequently.
  • Ability to climb, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc., using feet, legs and/or hands and arms frequently.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 75lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to sit/stand frequently for long and/or intermittent periods of time.
Other Relevant Information
  • Travel required on average up to 50%, more during project peak, depending on project needs.
