Overview:

The role entails delivering comprehensive training on equipment and modules for both employees and clients. This includes the execution of maintenance training sessions that align with EVG standards, focusing on customer equipment. Collaboration with the EVG Academy team is essential for the creation and documentation of new training-related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

To excel in this position, the individual must effectively carry out the following core responsibilities:

  1. Conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders on EVG machinery.
  2. Provide technical assistance for local training equipment.
  3. Plan and prepare technical training courses tailored for both internal and external audiences.
  4. Oversee and monitor course completions and gather customer feedback through our learning management system.
  5. Develop training materials addressing local challenges and issues.
  6. Coordinate with the Documentation team to modify training content and assist with new procedures.
  7. Maintain records of all Field Service Engineer (FSE) training and arrange module training for new FSEs as necessary.
  8. Assess the onsite knowledge of FSEs and devise additional training plans when required.
  9. Perform tasks with minimal supervision while mentoring and providing technical guidance to onsite FSEs.
  10. Stay updated with new equipment and software features, occasionally supporting service and installations at various customer locations.

Qualifications / Education / Skills and Experience:

  1. A minimum of an associate degree or bachelor's degree, coupled with at least three (3) years of experience with EVG equipment, or 6-10 years of experience in the installation and repair of semiconductor or electronic production machinery.
  2. Extensive experience in operating and maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment or similar systems.
  3. Proficient in English, with strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and high social competence.
  4. Preferably, prior experience or education as a trainer in a technical setting.
  5. Ability to qualify maintenance personnel based on standard PM + CM procedures and on-site challenges.
  6. Familiarity with customer equipment and processes is advantageous.
  7. Assist in fostering a common understanding and operational procedures across EVG HQ, EVG NA, and Intel technicians.

Physical Requirements:

  1. While performing the duties of this position, the individual is frequently required to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity is necessary. The individual must also be able to use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls regularly and reach above shoulder level occasionally.
  2. Must be able to wear appropriate cleanroom attire and work in a cleanroom environment for a significant portion of the time.
