Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team at Physician Empire as a Trauma Program Position in Upstate New York. This is a permanent opportunity that offers a unique blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with clinical responsibilities and administrative duties for an American College of Surgeons verified Level II Trauma Program.
- Contribute to the development of performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
- Participate in teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
- Collaborate with a strong Trauma Surgery panel and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Support the Trauma Program Medical Director in leading the program and making strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Surgery.
- Preferred Trauma and/or Surgical Critical Care Fellowship training.
- Previous leadership experience in an accredited Trauma Program is preferred.
