Job Title: Virtual School Psychologist

At VocoVision, we are seeking a passionate and qualified Virtual School Psychologist to join our team. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will work remotely to support students' mental health and educational needs at a Michigan school district.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and challenges.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students via secure online platforms to promote emotional well-being and academic success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) to support students' unique needs.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to students in distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and deliver professional development workshops for educators and staff on mental health topics to promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and virtual counseling, applying this knowledge to improve student outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid School Psychologist license in Michigan.
  • Experience in a school setting, with a strong understanding of IEPs, BIPs, and school-based mental health services.
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and platforms to facilitate remote work.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to work effectively with students, parents, and educators.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
