Job Opportunity

Heka Aero LLC is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Aerospace Engineering Intern. As a member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from new product development to existing product support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support for new product development activities and existing products and projects
  • Translate requirements into a mechanical specification and test plan to be used for development
  • Execute verification testing as defined by the mechanical specification and test plan
  • Conduct design analysis and testing to prove the design will meet customer requirements
  • Use hands-on knowledge and skills to participate in multiple phases of the Design and Development process
Requirements
  • Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field at the college or university level
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and track processes to completion
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A problem-solving constitution with a curious mind for discovery, coupled with self-discipline and an intrinsic drive for continuous self-improvement
  • U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering or related field
  • General engineering fundamentals, mathematics, physics, material properties
  • CAD or analysis tools exposure and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms
  • Airfoil design, CFD, VWT, aerodynamics analysis experience
  • Familiarity with structured development techniques
  • Working knowledge of a programming language
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket
  • Active or inactive SECRET clearance
