Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate software systems for our end-user customers and businesses.
You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and maintain complex software systems, including systems engineering, cloud and application, test automation, DevSecOps, and systems test. Our simulation software is critical to current and future company projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycles, including requirements, design, implementation, qualification, and delivery of software products. Experience with C, C++, and Python programming languages is required, as well as knowledge of tools such as Jira, Crucible, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Fortify, or Coverity.
A bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline is required, with 5 years of related engineering experience. A master's degree in STEM with 3 years of experience or a PhD in STEM with 1 year of experience is also acceptable.
